Looking around in the different industries (Manufacturing, Resources, Automotive, etc…) we can see how they are increasing their revenues by implementing new technologies, transforming themselves into an Indusrty 4.0 actor. One aspect of these type of activities is the down-time optimization of their industrial machines and assets. It is a huge segment of the industrial digitalization if we take into account how much a given company can optimize their costs of maintenance. Also the good condition of a company’s asset has direct impact of their speed, and product quality which is another aspect of their revenue streams. Our speaker this time is Gergő Tóth-Batizán, recently joined to Accenture, 1.5 years ago. His main area of expertise is cloud based application development as digital product manager. He is fascinated by those new solutions which are mostly enabled by the cloud, like big data, IoT and AI. Smart Asset Maintenance is leveraging all of these technologies for the purposes of quality production in a highly optimized environment. Since he joined Accenture his main interests are around these topics.
